This page describes what Syntropic Labs collects through this website and the early-access waitlist, and what we do with it. We are a small team building products for people living with memory loss and the people who care for them — we try to collect no more than we need.
What you give us directly
If you join the waitlist, we ask for your name and email, and optionally your company, a social or website link, who the product is for, and what you would want it to remember. Optional fields are only saved if you actually fill them in.
If you reserve a product, your name, email, and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe on a page they host — we never see or store your card details ourselves. We keep a record of the reservation itself (which product, the amount, and the order it’s in), and mark your waitlist entry as reserved if you have one.
What we collect automatically
- Approximate location. Country, region, and city, derived from your IP address by our hosting provider. This is not GPS-precise and does not require any permission from your device.
- Traffic source. The page that referred you and any UTM parameters in the link you arrived from, so we know which channels bring people to the waitlist.
- Anonymous interaction data. A random identifier generated for your visit (not tied to your name or email unless you also sign up), which sections of the site you viewed, roughly how long you spent, and whether you opened or submitted the waitlist form. This helps us understand what people are actually interested in.
- How you move through the page. We use session recording and heatmap software to see mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling, so we can spot confusing or broken parts of the site. Anything you type into a form is masked before it ever leaves your browser and is never recorded — see Cookies and browser storage below.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser’s local storage to remember a visit identifier and which parts of the site you’ve seen, purely so the site behaves consistently across a single session — that data stays in your browser and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
We also use two cookies, _clck and _clsk,
set by Microsoft Clarity (our session-recording and heatmap tool) to
recognise that separate page views belong to the same visit. Any
form you fill in is masked on your device before that recording is
ever sent — see “How you move through the page”
above.
Who processes this data
Waitlist and interaction data is stored with Supabase, access-restricted to our own servers. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, which provides basic, privacy-respecting page analytics. Session recordings and heatmaps are processed by Microsoft Clarity, with form entries masked before upload as described above. Reservation payments are processed by Stripe on a page they host; your card details go directly to them and never reach our servers. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising trackers of any kind.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time — write to spiro@syntropiclabs.ai.
As the product develops, this page will be updated to reflect what we actually do. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top.
